Celestial Strings is the ministry of Rev. William Reister an ordained Lutheran minister and harpist who lives in Jacksonville, Florida. The elegant sounds of the harp and inspiring words join to make a truly memorable wedding ceremony, worship service, funeral, or memorial service. Celestial Strings provides the heavenly sounds of the harp for your special event. Each year Pastor Bill plays the pedal or lever harp for dozens of weddings, banquets, programs, parties, worship services, community events, and memorial occasions. Amplification is provided for indoor events with a top of the line Bose amplifier. A battery powered Roland amplifier is provided for outdoor events. In addition to the great sounds of the harp, piano, organ, keyboard, and vocal music are available. Mrs. Susan Reister is an accomplished church musician and will be pleased to play the piano or organ, if available, or provide music on one of her professional keyboards. Pastor Bill is a trained vocalist and is available to provide vocal music for your event. He sings with piano or organ accompaniment and provides some solo music accompanied by the harp. He often plays the harp and officiates for the same weddings. Ask about our wedding packages.
Rev. William Reister is the pastor of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jacksonville, Florida, a congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. His wife Susan is the church organist and choir director.
Celestial Ceremonies provides memorable Christian wedding services. Pastor Bill will work with you to create a wedding ceremony which celebrates your love and honors God your Creator who said in the Holy Bible, "A man shall leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and they will become one flesh." He will be pleased to meet with you in person or provide wedding resources for your review via email, if you prefer. He also offers free counseling in person or online using Prepare, a nationally recognized pre-marriage counseling inventory. Through a Christian wedding service you may give witness to your family and friends that you desire to honor God through your marriage and to share your faith in Jesus Christ your Savior. As a pastor in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod I maintain the traditional Biblical definition of marriage as I committed to do in my ordination vows in 1981. See lcms.org for more information.
